Sýningaljós is the official lighting supplier for the Icelandic Fisheries and Aquaculture Exhibition, taking place 22–24 September 2026. We provide rental of professional lighting equipment and all related electrical accessories, including full installation and dismantling across the entire exhibition venue.

By ordering lighting services, the exhibitor agrees to the following terms.
 

1. Scope of Service

Sýningaljós provides a complete, centrally managed lighting solution, including:

Rental of professional exhibition lighting

Electrical cables, connectors, and accessories

Installation and dismantling of all lighting at booths and shared areas

A uniform, safe, and compliant lighting setup throughout the venue

This is a plug-and-play service. Exhibitors are not permitted to install, move, modify, disconnect, or add lighting or electrical equipment under any circumstances without written approval from Sýningaljós.
 

2. Installation & Access

Installation is carried out according to the exhibition floor plan and in coordination with the organisers.

Exhibitors must ensure full access to their booths during designated installation times.

Delayed or restricted access may result in incomplete installation, for which the exhibitor bears full responsibility.
 

3. Use of Equipment

All lighting and electrical equipment remains the exclusive property of Sýningaljós.

Any unauthorised handling, adjustment, or interference is strictly prohibited.

Equipment must be used only as installed and instructed by Sýningaljós.

The exhibitor is liable for any damage caused by misuse or unauthorised interference.
 

4. Liability & Insurance

The exhibitor is responsible for loss, damage, or destruction of equipment located at their booth during the exhibition period.

Sýningaljós is not liable for indirect damages, loss of revenue, or consequences arising from circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

Power outages

Venue limitations

Decisions made by the exhibition organisers

Force majeure events

All supplied equipment complies with applicable Icelandic and EU safety and electrical standards.

5. Pricing & Payment

Prices are based on an approved quotation or the official price list published on www.syningaljós.is.

Sýningaljós reserves the right to correct pricing errors and make changes without prior notice, including typographical errors.

All prices include Icelandic VAT unless otherwise stated.

Payment is due immediately upon order/registration.
 

6. Confidentiality & Data Protection

All information provided by exhibitors is treated as strictly confidential and will never be shared with third parties.
 

7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Icelandic law.
Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively before the Icelandic courts.

Important Notice for Exhibitors

For safety, compliance, and uniformity, external lighting or self-installed electrical solutions are not permitted unless explicitly approved in writing by Sýningaljós and the exhibition organisers.
